Detox yourself to better health!

Our lives are filled with chemicals which our bodies are simply not able to get rid of without support. Detoxing makes sure that our systems have a chance to get rid of these poisons. Then you can experience feeling lighter, brighter and stronger. Your body is able to fight disease much more easily as it is not congested with contaminants. A whole range of conditions are improved by cleansing the body including allergies, anxiety, asthma, catarrh, congestion, depression, digestion problems, hormonal imbalances, IBS, insomnia, migraine, period pain, psoriasis, sinusitis, stress and weight gain.

Help yourself in everyday life by:

  • Drinking a mug of hot water with a slice of lemon first thing in the morning. This gives your liver a nice kick start.
  • Skin brushing your body with a rough flannel or brush. Sweep upwards from your feet and arms towards your heart. This removes dead skin cells, stimulates your blood and lymph circulation. A bit of self tlc is a great way to start the day.
  • Drinking lots and lots and lots of pure water. When the weather is cold it can be a good idea to drink it warm. Think - how would you rather be a free flowing stream or a stagnant pond!
  • Instead of coffee, wine, biscuits or crisps, encourage yourself to drink smoothies, herbal teas, juices and eat dried fruit, plain or toasted seeds and nuts.
  • Cutting down on congestants such as dairy products, meat and wheat. Instead opt for soya, rice or oat milk, loads of vegetables, some pulses and grains, rye bread and oat cakes.
  • Avoiding processed foods - far better to have a baked potato than a ready made meal full of additives.
  • Going for some good exercise a couple of times a week - something that you enjoy like dancing, swimming, walking, yoga, Pilates classes.
  • Relax x x ing! The more relaxed we are so the more balanced and strong our systems are. Have a massage, reflexology or healing energy treatment.
